[Opinions] Shadrach
This name jumped into my thoughts last week and I haven't been able to get it out. What do you think? Is Shad a good nickname, or would most people think of the type of fish called shad? Does Shadrach even need a nickname? Any mn suggestions would be appreciated, and as always, feel free to be honest. Thanks! :-)

Immediately I think of him, Mesach and Abednego standing in the fiery furnace;)Way too biblical for me!

I can't say it without following it with "Mesach Abednago." (Beastie Boys song)Seriously it's way too old school biblical for me personally.

That's cool. I've never heard it before, but I really like it. The nn Shad is nms; I think the name is best without a nn.
