[Opinions] Re: Seren/Ceren/Ceres
in reply to a message by Ruta
There's a girl in the school I work at called Seren. She'd be 6 or 7 years old. Hearing it frequently has made me more familiar with it and the child is a sweet little thing doing the name a lot of favours.Seren is definitely my preferred spelling, while I think most people would come out with the SER-REN pronunciation if encountering Ceren, I don't think it's intuitive and it certainly isn't the first spelling I'd go with.I'm not sure how you want to pronounce Ceres either. SER-RESS or CER-RESS - a bit like Cerys? They all have a Welsh vibe and for me, are blue and sunny in feel.78 names ~~
