I just seen two separate birth announcements on facebook! Both baby girls one named Iyla and the other Shiloh.

Lyla is nice, I like it and this is one name with a y, that doesn't bother me. Shiloh is great, I like it a lot.

Iyla would've been better as Isla, but I'm a big fan of Shiloh, both for boys and girls.

Not a fan. Iyla is kre8tyvely misspelled and Shiloh is just trendy and imho insubstantial.

I would've thought you'd like Shiloh given it's history and meaning.

I think it's a very gentle, sweet name. That might make it seem insubstantial, but in this case I think it's what makes the name so attractive.

Yikes. Iyla isn't that bad... I can see why they wanted to spell Isla differently to help with pronunciation, it just looks odd. Shiloh is terrible. Cute for a dog, not a person.
