It would seem sort of unfortunate, given the existence of “special snowflake “ as a pejorative. Also I just think “flake” is an ugly syllable. With the nickname Snow it seems better.
I would expect Snowflake to be a girl, and either another word name in the middle or something very traditional. Snowflake Moonbeam or Snowflake Anne. No in between.
