Alessandro and Sofia are two of my favourite names. I think Alessandro sounds so much better than Alexander I also think the Sofia spelling is much better than the English spelling of Sophia.
I think Diana is nice but it’s not my style.
As for Carmine I’ve heard it’s a tradition in some Italian families to name the first born boy after the father’s father so that’s most likely a tradition in their family which is why the felt like they “had” to. I’m not a fan of the name, I think it sounds too feminine.
