They both give me the same vibe: youthful, playful, informal, androgynous, and just a bit insubstantial as full names. I like them as nicknames for more weighty full names (e.g. Charlotte, Charles, Chauncey)

I never thought of using them as a nickname for something, I like that idea a lot thanks. (-:
