[Opinions] Emiliana
Came across the name while reading the novel, 'The Girl with Glass Feet.' (As mentioned in my post just below)I can't seem to get this elegant name out of my mind. What names would you pair it with it as the middle name?
Also, feel free to put in a first name for this combo _____Emiliana Faye (A name I would contemplate on using for a hypothetical daughter. Both middles would be honoring). I really like Lucy but unfortunately I don't think it goes well with 'Emiliana' which stinks. \:
Thank you in advance.

I think Emiliana is a nice name, but it's too long for my taste, not enough texture of sound to justify the length. I'd rather see Emilia or Eliana. They seem more elegant to me. But as a middle name, it is pretty and the length less important.I agree with Anneza that the combo "needs a good squeeze of lemon" ... though that's not how I'd pick a name.
Lucy Emiliana Faye would suffice for adding tartness, but you don't like it, so how about other faves of mine.Audrey Emiliana Faye sounds nice, but.
Ada Emiliana Faye
Claire Emiliana Faye
Jane Emiliana Faye

Ooh, I like Claire and the combination, don't think I would actually use it however.
The other names definitely would be off the table.Audrey (That's my name)
Ada (Too close in sound to my niece's name)
Jane (Sister's middle name. I don't see myself using it directly especially if I already consider honoring her with the use of 'Emiliana' I also wouldn't pair any 'ay' containing names with 'Faye'
Thank you for the suggestions anyway. Lucy Emiliana Faye: I actually DO like it but wonder if the strong 'E' sound in the first two names 'clash' Like if it's something that should best be avoided for actual use.

For me it flows alright with Lucy. Since there's not a strong "ee" in the "mili" part, and most emphasis is on the AHna. I didn't even notice the E sounds matching or clashing.Lucia Emiliana Faye "Lucy" ?

It's whiny and mealy and over the top. It sounds like a name a little girl would name her China doll, rather than belonging to a real person. I really dislike the sound of Emilia and I think this is worse.Ruby Emiliana
Lucy Emiliana (this is absolutely fine flow wise)
Marie Emiliana
Francesca Emiliana
Maria Emiliana
Rose Emiliana
Florence Emiliana
Jane Emiliana
Isabel Emiliana
Julia Emiliana
My vote would go to Florence Emiliana Faye. Florence is one of those names that are flowery but not simpering. I think it contrasts Emiliana nicely.

I quite like Emiliana. Far more distinctive than Emilia, which just blends with Amelia in my opinion, and so elegant. Emiliana Faye is absolutely gorgeous! I don’t think Lucy Emiliana Faye is awful, but a few more options.Thea Emiliana Faye
Alice Emiliana Faye
Iris Emiliana Faye
Rosa Emiliana Faye
Clara Emiliana Faye
Arwen Emiliana FayeIt’s difficult to come up with something whimsical but not too out there or long that sounds good.

I’m not a fan. It’s really frilly, which is nmsaa, and the meaning is also quite bad, which makes it even worse. These both mean that I just really kind of dislike this name a bit.I’ll suggest a few combos, despite thinking Emiliana is NMSAA. Since the name is so frilly I think a short, one-syllable middle fits best. Emiliana Ann
Emiliana Sol
Emiliana Ash
Emiliana RayAlso your __ Emiliana Faye idea — the same thing makes sense. Simple first names just sort of work best. Ann Emiliana Faye
Pauline Emiliana Faye
