Cora was the name of my ggm and my mom adored her. I'm not sure why none of her four dds was given this name. I like it well enough and I'm at the point in my life where I sometimes wish I'd used it in some way. Still, it's a tad harsh sounding for me and I lean more towards Corinne which dh really likes. Whatever. Have to say, I'd love to meet anyone with this name (Cora), especially a little one.
Coral is nice but it doesn't roll off the tongue smoothly for me (that and Laurel).

Agreed completely! Btw the Cora I met was young (but not a child, probably twenty-something). People think of it as an “old lady name” but it’s been consistently in the top 1000 for as long as there have been records kept.
