[Opinions] Re: Hannah Vs Anna
I like Hannah alright. It's not my personal style but I enjoy calling people Hannah. I like Anna too - I think mostly because of liking the women I've known named it. Hannah is a name that became popular during my teenage years and I hadn't heard of it when I was little, so it seems "newer" to me (I wouldn't say modern) and sort of ... trendier? But not trendy. Like Abigail or Lauren... easier to date, less "timeless." I couldn't say that either name is prettier. Sometimes I think of the Hebrew H in Hannah (Channah) and I think that sounds super ugly. KHannah. I don't like the spelling Hanna, unless it's pronounced HAH-na (because I knew a Hanna who said it HAH-na, therefore it seems "right" to me - Hanna prn HAN-na makes me think of Hanna-Barbera, Saturday morning cartoons on TV, not namey)Anna Janel
