All Ada ever dreamed off was her own family, decent husband and a house full of children. The moment she laid her eyes on Ryan Jenkins for the first time some five years ago, the butterflies went wild in her stomach and for the first time ever she felt that this guy might be the one that will make all her dreams come true. Yet she had not approached him that day or any day afterwards and it wasn't until they met at a dinner hosted by their mutual friends weeks later when they spoke for the first time. Ada was never known for unpredictable decisions or spontaneous actions so it came as no surprise that despite the clear attraction it took another weeks before the two of them went on their first date. Which was obviously a success, they both graduated with their bachelors and Ada found a job at a community school teaching kindergarten, another one of her dreams, while Ryan continued to work on his masters in management. They pulled off a long distance relationship for two years until Ryan returned back home to their small provincial town. The two off them moved in together and the love story would have continued if it wasn't for the fact that Ryan was deeply unhappy there and Ada had no intentions to ever move anywhere else. Working a job that was way below his abilities, locked in a small town with limited opportunities and although still madly in love with Ada it was only a matter of time until this fact would affect their relationship. So it happened on one Saturday evening, a big fight that left Ada in tears and Ryan storming out in furry. He moved out the next day and left the town just weeks later, leaving Ada alone and perplexed her dreams crushed.
From the moment she could crawl Trix has always been on the go. Energetic social butterfly, she was the it girl during high school, and as one of few was accepted to three of Ivy League universities finally choosing Columbia and her dream major journalism. The moment she left for university is forever engraved in her mind as the moment when her life started. Despite coming from a different background to her peers she quickly fit in, her friends circle growing by a minute. Finishing her studies with honors she was hired by CNN months before she actually graduated. Traveling the world for work is her passion and whatever free time she has is spent with her friends, finding little to no time to visit her family back home. When it comes to boyfriend and children, she laughs all questions off always saying that there's enough time for that, now all she wants is to travel, work and have fun. There are only a handful of people who know about her horrible high school date experience that made her give up on all guys, forever. Well, or until the perfect guy arrives.
Lin has always been different, in everything. She had bunch of friends but no one really understood her, not even her parents or sisters. The teachers thought she was a brat and if anything happened it was always her fault, no matter that many times she was the victim. No one ever stood up for her, not even her so called friends. Somehow she learned to not care, to just take the blame and move on. Now eight years out of high school she still carries that stigma with her, she still has many friends, countless hook-ups and feels like she is not worth anything. She loves painting, but is not willing to put that much effort into it, what would be the point anyway? She is just a brat that is not worth anything, right?
