Jonie and Will were settling into coparenting their large blended family, and even hoped to expand it with more adopted children. However, the stress was beginning to take a toll. Will’s mental health was in a state following her dysfunctional relationship with Brady, the father of Noella and Caralie. Jonie loved Will a lot, but between work and parenting, often found herself fed up with having another adult to take care of too. They had begun talking about whether Will should take Noella and Caralie and go back to live with her parents for a while.
However, the news that an adoption had gone through and they had the opportunity to provide another child a home reminded them of the life they dreamed of building together, and they resolved to seek counseling to work on doing better as partners and as parents. They welcomed two-year-old Damion home soon after.
