[Opinions] Letitia
Letitia is a family name that I've never liked much - always thought it sounded like a sneeze - but it has a pleasing meaning, and having met one recently I'm coming around to it. WDYT? Tish or Letty or something else as an nn? Do you prefer Laetitia or Lettice?

It comes across as dainty to me...also, silly/goth because it makes me think of Morticia "Tish" from The Addams Family...and quirky-fun-odd because I know Lettice is a form of it, and that reminds me of lettuce...and I do appreciate the positive meaning, so...I like it, overall. I'd prefer Laetitia over Letitia, because 'let' seems passive in a way that bugs me a bit, plus I'd associate it with "happiness" more closely than I would Letitia.Letty is cute, but I think I'd be more likely to use Tish.

I adore Letitia because of its antique elegance. I also love the nickname Letty -- so sprightly!I prefer Letitia to both Laetitia and Lettice, though I like those as well.

Lettie has grown on me a bit. Letitia doesn't look so nice to me, I think the main appeal of the name is its beautiful spelling Laetitia which is lovely. Lettice is cute but these days people would think of 'lettuce'. However I'd like to meet a little Lettice.

Oh andI just realized that in English the last part gets pronounced like tish-a, I don't like that at all, sorry :( I also don't care for Patricia.

I prefer both Laetitia and Lettice to Letitia but I like them all. Letty is a prettier way of shortening them than Tish I think

I love it, but prefer Letizia and Leticia which are pronounced with four syllables rather than the smushing of the SHuh sound. I really like Lettie as a nickname.

Hi Pie !!!Among these I prefer Laetita because It is similar to Letizia, the Italian form.I prefer Tisha over Letty but neither is my style. If you pronounce It with 'sh' what about Shine as NN?For Letizia I would go with Titti (Tweety).

Titti wouldn't fly here, at all. lol I won't tell you why, bc then you'd hate it.Anyway, I don't really care for Letitia bc bad personal association (had a classmate in fourth grade named Leticia, and she wasn't very nice).
