Help[Opinions] Lucienne
Thinking a bit about Lucienne today..
I like it, and I could even tolerate Lucy as a nickname (shock horror) though i'd probably rather it without a nickname.
Not sure if I like it enough as a FN, but thought i'd see what the general consensus. Also I think Theodora & Lucienne have very different 'vibes'.
What are your general thoughts on Lucienne?
What about Theodora & Lucienne as sisters?

I'm quite familiar with Lucienne as French names have been the more familiar foreign names in my area for centuries (the dialect that my father speaks has a lot of French little influences).
We have an Italian form of it: Luciana (popular on women born in years 1960-1979) but it is slowly disappearing (in 2016 only 19 Luciana).
Lucienne is far better than it.
It enough vintage to be ready for a comeback out of France imo. It is fascinating and less popular than Lucille (but I still prefer it).
I read that someone told you that Lucienne is too French to be paired with Theodora. I think that they share an unusual, elegant, vintage vibe that makes them unique without being tacky or weird.
I'm quite worried about your combo

All three names are long, sophisticated with a N, R and a W/U sound. They seem a list. They are too much together imo.
If they are honouring so no problem but I would choose some other possible combos. At least only two of them with a shorter and simplier one.
If you have any idea or you like to ask for them I would be glad to comment.

How would you pronounce it? I can think of a few ways it might be said.

I find it almost aggressively foreign! But then, I would use Lucy as a stand-alone without hesitation. Or Lucilla. Or even Lucinda, though I've used that already on a cat. Or, closer to Lucienne, there's always Lucy-Anne, though not as a mn.
Vibes are interesting. I was all set to name my daughter Lucy, but the vibe was wrong for her or she for it. Just didn't work. So, if Theodora's sister has a Lucienne vibe, why not?
As a combo, I find Winifred Rowena Lucienne rhythmically unpleasing. Winifred Rowena Lucy would flow better, IMO.

Weird!
Lucinda is not 'popular' here but you'll see a few pop up here and there, there was a home and away star who's name was Lucinda I think. I've only ever met one other THeodora and one Teodora.
Most people comment that they have never heard it, or if they have it's usually their friends greek grandmothers name!

I'm going to honest, I don't care for it despite my admiration for Lucy. I would suggest Lucia instead or even Lucille.
Rowena: Really dislike. Sounds awkward when spoken out loud. The name just doesn't roll off the tongue very well and makes me think of a fictional witch or sorceress and things of that nature. (One on the television series, supernatural for prime example) or even just a character in general.
Winifred is nice in a 'charming and cute' dated sort of way. A name popularized decades ago but could see it coming back, having some of the dust removed.
Willa, Freya and Wilhelmina as a few warmup suggestions thrown out there.
