[Opinions] Sowenna
WDTYO (so-WEN-uh)? I love it. Except it starts with a lady pig, even if that isn't how it's pronounced. I don't care personally but other people might be, er, uncharitable in pointing it out. Also, any thoughts these combos (or combo suggestions)?
Sowenna Beatrix
Sowenna Katherine
Sowenna Ruby
Sowenna RoseLaura Sowenna
Tamsin Sowenna
Margot Sowenna

I do not like it. The 'sow' part is a problem IMO and it does no flow as well as other -wenna compositions.

Hi !!!What about the 'lady pig' link?
I can't see the reference. It is quite a dumb name imo.
I much prefer Sowena or Morwenna.Margot Sowenna is the combo I would pick.

I know someone named Morwenna. She usually goes by the nickname Mo.

A female pig is a sow. Which rhymes with 'how', and I suppose the Sow- in Sowenna would rhyme with 'row' as in make a boat move.I agree that Morwenna is far preferable!

So definetely odd and quite unusable (same for Sowena).

What is it? Is it invented? Can you just spell it Soenna? Soënna?

It's Cornish (like me).Sacreligious as it is, I'm actually warming to the idea of changing the spelling. I hadn't considered it before.

It’s a Cornish name (meaning success, I think), so not invented. There are other -owenna/-enna names though.

I like the meaning, and I think it sounds great, but on paper the Sow start isn’t the most attractive. I do love Lowenna and Rowena though. I really like Sowenna Beatrix, Sowenna Ruby, and Margot Sowenna.
