I prefer Clorinda to Clarinda.
Clorinda is a tragic, important character in Italian poem 'Jerusalem Delivered' written by Torquato Tasso in 1581. Probably the name Clorinda was created by him.
Clarinda seems just a cutesy and quite snobbish form of Clara.
