[Opinions] Glovene
Saw an obituary the other day for a woman named Glovene. Not sure how to say it, either Glow-veen or Gluv-een.
Never saw that before. It sounds like either a chemical, (possibly one used in glow-sticks) or those combination mitten/glove things that my mother at least calls glovens. The kind that's a fingerless glove with a closed thumb, and then a mitten part that you can flip down to cover your fingers.
thBefore you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, when you criticize him, you're a mile away and you have his shoes!

Hi RoxStar !!!!.It is the first time that I see it too.Glovene.I think of a a dark-grey sky full of clouds just before raining. I think also of the oceanic abyss where the water is dark-blue, the light is seen but nearly remote and anything from the surface cares.

I'd say Gluv-een. It mostly just makes me think of gloves, which is weird.I found reference to a few different Glovenes when I googled it, and they're all from Berwick, PA. Glovenia looks similar and seems to have been slightly more popular...when I searched that on BtN, Glovanna (it's listed as East African, with no other info) came up, which reminds me of Giovanna...It almost seems like a step between Lovie and Jolene to me.
