[Opinions] Djali
Hi !!!Djali is famous to be the name of Esmeralda's little goat in Victor Hugo's masterpiece (and then in all the adaptations including Disney). It probably comes from the Arabic masculine adjective meaning "free" (in general).

WDYTO this name?Have you ever seen it used in real life?Personal Name Lists https://www.behindthename.com/pnl/125456

It is cute on a goat. It might be kind of cute on human female but I wouldn't care for it on a man because it sounds feminine.

It might be a cute name for a goat, but on a child it would look strange.Interestingly enough, Djali is a nanny-goat (a female goat) in the book. I guess it could work for a goat of either gender.

It sounded Indian, but to me Indian and Arabic names can sound really similar and I think that it might be strange for a person, but the sound of it is nice. I have never met someone with that name.

I've seen Djamila used, which was especially memorable because she was from Djibouti...but not Djali. The Dj* looks unusual, and most people where I live would hear it as Jolly, which would come across as eccentric. It'd be fun to see it used, though.
