Depends on the pronunciation - I don't like the very English one. I prefer Eugenie, though I would probably not use either name myself. If I could think of a really nice nickname I'd be more enthusiastic.

Same as Augusta for the most part. However, I love Eugenie.

Pronounced like yoo-zhen-ya, I think it’s so pretty and classy and I adore it immensely.
It’s in my Top Ten.

But nobody in the US is going to pronounce it that way. And if Eugenia corrects them and insists on that pronunciation, people will probably mess up, because the pronunciation doesn't come naturally to them, half of the time, and all of the time they will think that she's a pretentious dust-chaser.

Charming name I wouldn’t mind seeing more of.

I can see the appeal for other people (the style seems similar to Eulalia, which I like), but I think I'm never not going to associate it with eugenics, which makes it nms.I've never liked Jeanie / Jeanne / Genie / Gene either, though Jean is alright.

I really like it. I prefer Eugenie over Eugenia, but I think Eugenia is still pretty fab.

i think it's adorable, but i have trouble getting past the fact that it shares its etymology with "eugenics".

I've never been able to get into any Eu- names, really, and not a fan of the middle syllable either.

I love it! I've long had it in the combo Maren Eugenia. I think it's a lovely name though. Cute, without being cutsey.
