[Opinions] Laurinda
I came across an Instagrammer with this name. I'd never heard it before, and while it's not exactly my style I thought it sounded very medieval and interesting. I think the nickname 'Lauri' would be cute.WDYT?

It's not intuitive to me for some reason. Lorinda is, but not Laurinda. I like Laurie as an adult nickname, but I think it would sound dated on a kid. "-inda" is very dated on anyont IMO.
I like Laurana, Laurien, Lorien, Laurian, etc.

I like it.I also like "Lindaura" as an inversion.

It’s kind of cute and I wouldn’t mind it terribly on someone else ‘s kid, but feels very frilly and overwrought

I have an ancestor named Lurinda who is recorded in various places as Laurinda and Lorenda. Her nickname was "Rindy". I like it. I think its pretty and delicate but still has some umph. Lauri kind of steal the charm. It feels drab in comparison. I would go with "Lindy" personally.

It sounded like a made-up name or two names smashed together, but I thought I’d give it the benefit of the doubt by clicking to see the history and meaning. Sure enough it took me down a rabbit hole of names it could have branched off from, each a far better name than Laurinda itself. Pass.

Far too elaborately fluffy for the Middle Ages! I love Laura too much to give Laurinda a passing glance.

Reminds me of the nit job off the batchelor the other year
