The first time I came across this name was way back in my family tree. I think it's useable, but will have issues. I've assumed it's pronounced EL-na-than, more like Jonathan, and not like "El Nathan." But people will think/hear "El Nathan," which is silly. And if it is pronounced "El Nathan," then I'd say it is too silly. Heh

Yeah, El Nathan would definitely be too silly. It's cool that you have ancestors with it!
