I'd think they were pouring it on awful thick. Cleopatra is just one of those names that only works on its original owner, it doesn't transfer. It even sounds silly as a cat name, even if it would be more appropriate on a cat.

There's a wonderfully over-the-top needlepoint design, I forget whodunnit, of a black cat sitting proudly erect and wearing Egyptian-type jewellery against a background of similar designs. It's called Cleopetra.
