[Opinions] Yeliel
First off, hello, long time no see all :)
I just came across this name today and immediately was like "whoa, I've never seen this before!". Shocking for me. First thing I did was come here to search for it and it's not even here as a user-submitted name, so it feels even more rare.
Anyway, I thought it was pretty and wanted to share it with you all and see what you think!
The Yeliel I met is a young woman, by the way, early 20s, American, to give an idea of usage.

Hi !!!
As I don't know the meaning and I don't know anyone (fictional or real) with this name so I dislike it.
I much prefer Yael.

It wouldn't surprise me - seems like the type of names a lot of younger Latino people have. Reminds me a lot of names like Yeriel or Yadiel, which I know several students called. Seems more masculine than feminine to me, as almost all people I know with names ending in -el are male. I'd expect it to maybe be a form of Jahleel?
How did she pronounce it? yell-EE-ell? jell-EE-ell? I'm not too fond of the sound - too much "el" in a row.

Hi! :)
Is it just me or does it sound kinda Hebrew? Idk, that's just the vibe I'm getting. You should ask on the Facts board if you haven't already. It's got a very lovely smooth flowing sound, which I used to really like in names, but am going off recently.

I was thinking Hebrew too! Or possibly Hispanic (Caribbean islands variety like: Yarelis, Janelis, Iselle).
I don't like it much, the "yel" part bothers me.
I'd assume Yeliel was a man, as a form of Eliel. I kinda like Eliel but not Yeliel and especially not for a female
