I could see it having a niche hipster comeback, especially as a way to get to the nn Minnie, or with fans of the Shopaholic books. But I don’t think it will ever have widespread appeal.
It would be the perfect name for an interrupting weasel in a cartoon.

Ermintrude "Minnie" is lovely IMO. Maybe I'm a niche hipster :)
