[Opinions] Oenone
I found this name in a book I just finished reading called 'Kind of Cruel' by Sophie Hannah. (One of my favorite authors)
The character was a 7 yr old girl who mainly went by 'Nonny'I never heard of it before so thought it was pretty interesting. (Oenone) It definitely stood out against the rest of the character names.
What are your thoughts on it?

It has a nice sound. It would be hard for most people in the US to spell and pronounce, however. Most words that formerly contained the digraph 'oe' are now spelled with an 'e' only in US English (e.g. "foetus" has become "fetus"). Accordingly, someone using it in the US might wish to change the spelling to "Enone," which would be slightly more user-friendly (besides being a palindrome).

Oh I love Oenone! It's so sensual. Nonny is an adorable nickname.

I like Oenone. I quite like Margaret Oenone "Meg" as a combo and have for a while. I'd like to see it used.

Sound-wise, it could maybe grow on me; does feel spunky. Visually, I’m a bit put off and, as an English-speaker, the pronunciation is not intuitive. Never have been on board with naming girls after intoxicating beverages, either.
