[Opinions] Full name for Teo
We are thinking about baby 3 we have Amy & Thomas. Lately I'v been crushing on the NN Teo only name I can think of using as the full name is Theodore. We have 2 other names on our list which are Edward & Harry. Which boys name do you think sounds best with Amy & Thomas. Last name sounds like Picture.Theodore Richard
Edward Richard
Harry Anthony?A couple other names we like are Tristan, Stanley & Vincent.

I'd use Theodore "Theo", but I know someone who has a son named Matteo "Teo" too. From your suggestions I prefer Theodore (it's one of my absolute favorites) but I think that Edward sounds best with Amy and Thomas. Or Vincent.

Matteo nn Teo is the original name from the story I was reading. I really don't like Theodore. I was just trying to get Teo without it sounding silly with Amy & Thomas. Edward has always been out no 1 choice since having Thomas.

I wouldnt use another name starting with T. Edward or Henry go well. to continue the a and m in all names - Liam, William, Michael, James, Callum, Hamish, Graham, Martin, Mark, Malcolm, Matthew, Maxwell
others Christian, Daniel, Stephen, Patrick, Robert, Peter

I've never wanted 2 of the same initals, I'm just trying to do the Teo thing. The a & m thing we was not trying we just liked both names. I'v never liked Henry for some reason. William nn Liam - This one is on our list I'v just never been 100% sure on using it. Callum - I like the name but it feels to modern for me. Hamish - I'v always liked this name but Amy has a friend called Hamish. Matthew - Teo is a NN for Matteo which is the Italian form of Matthew. Do you think that could work? Would it matter that I have a cousin called Matthew nn Matt. Patrick & Robert - are both nice. If we used either they'd be on our middle name list.Peter, Michael, James, Graham, Martin, Daniel, Stephen, Mark, Malcolm, Maxwell & Christian are all nice however there is one or more in the family already with these names.

I think Edward or Harry sound best with Amy or Thomas. What about Edward Theodore or Harry Theodore nn Teo?

Edward & Harry are our top 2 names. I did consider using Theodore as a middle name however I just keep thinking that my nan can't remember her first name as she goes by her middle name and I didn't want that.

How about Theodore "Teo" Harry?

Harry was a name we wanted to use as a FN it was going to be Amy's name if she was a boy. Theodore Harry sounds ok I will add it to the list.

I like Edward the best with your surname and with Amy and Thomas. Teo could also be short for Matteo, I know quite a few Matteos called Teo.

I was reading a story where Matteo nn Teo was the main male character but I don't feel comfortable using Matteo as we are not Italian. I did consider Matthew as Matteo is the Italian version of Matthew, but I have a cousin called Matthew so I'm not sure on using it. Could Teo work as a NN for Edward? We'd use Teddy as a NN if we used Edward.

Matteo Tristan
Matteo Vincent
Matteo Richard
Matteo Anthony
Matteo Edward
Matteo HenryHarry Matteo
Tristan Matteo
Anthony Matteo
Vincent Matteo
Edward MatteoI think any of them would go okay with Amy and Thomas, though I really dislike Stanley, and Theo seems a more natural shortening of Theodore to me.

I love Matteo but I don't feel comfortable using it as it's Italian and we have no Italian relations. I love Matteo with all those first names but I don't like using the middle name. My grandmother goes by her middle name and she can't even remember her first name.Theo is the natural shortening for Theodore, however I know 2/3 Theo's (Just Theo) so I don't want to use it.

Matteo has been semi-popular recently in several countries. None of the younger Matteo "Teo"s I've met or heard about were Italian.
...so if you love it, I don't think that's a barrier, at least objectively. Or not much more so than Theodore being Greek would be.

I think to me as I'v heard Theodore/Theo on a lot of kids. I know a lot of names get used out of countries however it's not something I feel comfortable doing. I am considering using Matthew nn Teo.

From the group: Theodore Richard (Edward Richard & Harry Anthony both sound weird to me. They don't flow as well, H.A especially)Another suggestion: Theodore Stanley

Richard is a Family names so it is not changing as a middle name unfortunately. I did think of doing Tristan/Theodore Edward O...… and then using Teo. We have Harry B...….. on our list also (B which is my maiden name). Stanley. I'm not really sure on as a middle or first name. TBH I really don't like the name Theodore. Matthew I know is the English version of Matteo but I don't know if Teo would work with that?
