I've never encountered this name in real life. My instincts would be the same:
Wylda --> WHILE-dah
Wilda --> WILL-dah
I prefer the first.

I've never come across Wylda, but I have Wilda on my PNL. I pronounce it WIL-da. Obviously, it's on my list, so I like it. But I tend to be very drawn to "old lady" german names.
