[Opinions] Tennessee
WDYT of Tennessee?Boy, or girl? What would you use as a middle name?Would it NEED a middle name? Hmm. Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

Since I live in Tennessee, it seems a little silly (as does Memphis), but I do like the sound of it. I ike Tenny as a NN.I would rather hear it on a girl though it's pretty unisex. It would go without a MN because otherwise it just sounds like you're naming a person from the state of TN (Tennessee Claire, a girl named Claire from TN).

I don’t like it but I think it sounds better for a boy. But honestly, place names can work either way.

I hate it. But as a middle name I suppose it would be fine. It'd be a pain in the ass to learn how to spell when you were in kindergarten. Joseph Tennessee

I don't really like state names in general, but Tennessee I don't like at all as a person name. It's better for a boy, I think they'd be slightly less susceptible to'the only ten I see' jokes. It absolutely needs a middle name, so that they have the choice to go by it instead of Tennessee.

Hi !!!I think that Tennessee is unisex and it doesn't need any MN as it is too long. If you want a MN I suggest a one-syllable name.Tennessee Blake (m)
Tennessee Pearl
Tennessee George
Tennessee Opal
Tennessee Glenn
Tennessee Phoebe
Tennessee Liar
Tennessee Claire
Tennessee Yves
Tennessee Chloé
Tennessee Blair (m)
Tennessee ZoeAs it is a very specific geographical name I think that it should be used only if parents have special ties with it. It is not my case.I much prefer Tessa, Tansy (f) and Tennyson (b)ETA Liar is actually Lear .. it was a typo.

It’s okay. I wouldn’t use it for myself but it doesn’t annoy me like a lot of names do.
Boy, definitely.
Middle name... something short and sweet.

Tennessee Zane Yes, all names need a middle name :)I’d probably call him “Ten” or “T” or by his initials. Tennessee is a long name to call someone consistently, I think.
