Spindona was never intended as a real name but one that was used in a British comedy sketch. What do others think of it as a name though?

Reminds me of the word spinster.

It's a silly name. It brings to mind both spinsters and spiders - so it might be a good name for a witch in a story?

Sounds like the name of a witch in a fairy story, or maybe a large spider. Can't see it working in any other context.

The original joke revolved around the words being misheard. Someone says “It’s pinned on er” which gets picked up as Spindona.
Ona might be a nickname but I dislike the name too.
