I want to pronounce it as if it rhymes with Shahin. I don't like the sound, if it doesn't.

If I like the sound and wanted the place name connection, I'd spell it Síodh Linn or Síleann. Or maybe Shealyn.

It sounds like a modern variant of Sheila, and I prefer the original.
