Well unless you're hanging around teenagers/early-to-mid-20s dudes who are very comfortable around you, you probably wouldn't hear it. But it's a common term in the US among young men lol. I've heard it quite a bit.

Yep.
I know my husband knows it as well. Apparently it's mostly used on the internet and by young adults. I'm definitely familiar with it from the internet, I haven't really heard it IRL. Read it plenty of places though.

Oh yeah lol. It sorta came across like I was trying to talk in scholarly way about the usage and demographics of the word "fap". I hope some Soc major has written a paper on "fap" and "fapping" lol
