I like the sound, it’s pretty like Jolene, but I don’t like the spelling (although I think your spelling makes most sense).

-leen names seem very retro to me, in a more blowsy than vintage-chic way. Kind of like Marilou.
I'm surprised that Jayleen charted in the past 15 years rather than in the 1950s. I guess it goes along with the popularity of Jaylyn. But it seems odd because most of that trend was _ay -in / en / an / yn, and not een. I notice that Jolene has been charting again too - strange!?

Jayleen sounds pretty twangy to me, and I notice the "jail" in it, just like I do with Jaylyn.

It's alright, I guess. Preferably on a fictional character.

Like Raylene / Raylynn and Arlene... boring. ... Although come to think of it, Arlene is somewhat interesting... and I like Jolene too. But not Jayleen... Jaylene / Jayleen is asking too much of me.
