The actual pronunciation seems wordy ('save') yet not and does nothing for me. My main associations are damsels in distress and saving money.

I think that currently Saibh is more useable in Ireland too.

I think the sound is nice, but it would be pretty awkward outside of Ireland if it wasn't anglicized. Like ari, I had a classmate named Saadman who dealt with jokes every single time he introduced himself.

My initial thought was also "that's Sadhbh". I know it's pronounced differently, but still an unfortunate name to have. I went to primary school with a boy who I think was Saudi Arabian, and his name was Sa'd. He always told teachers "I'm Sa'd" and they'd ask "what's the matter?", at which point he'd start laughing.
