It's been on my faves list forever but I never think about it. I had a friend named Jory growing up (her full name was Marjorie but nobody ever called her that). I don't know how much I really like it, because I can only picture her... I'd never consider using it because it reminds me too much of her. But I liked it as her name.
I guess I think it sounds sort of childish, but not in an unappealing way - it's not "cute," it's just simplified.
