Nicholas is an old, old favorite. When I first started paying attention to names it was among my Top 10. Then it dropped off the list some time in college, and stayed off the list. For a long time. Now it's back, and I don't foresee it leaving! (My whole boys list seems pretty solidified now.)

I used to struggle with middle names for Nick, though. In real life I've encountered Andrew, Anthony, and Patrick as middle names - and I honestly don't really like any of them (Anthony edges out ahead of the others as a middle name, though - at least there's no "Tony"). I cycled through Connor, Owen, Ronan, and Rowan as middle names mainly, before remembering that Caleb existed.
