I was married to a Richard. The marriage didn't go all that well. He was what probably would be called emotionally abusive these days. Even so, I think of him with a certain degree of nostalgia. So yes, Richard pops into my mind and I actually like it even with all things considered.

He went by Rich but I never used that, preferring Richard.
