I actually kind of like it. I have no idea why, but Ashlyn sounds like the name of a princess in a kids’ fantasy novel to me.

Hi !!!I much prefer Aisling and Ashley.

It's listed as feminine, but it sounds and seems very masculine to me.

I vastly prefer Aisling.

I'd never personally use it but I do think it's pretty!

I don't like it, it's just another made up american -lyn name, though thankfully this one appears to be on it's way out.I much prefer Aisling, Aislin/ Aislinn and Ashling.

I mean Ashlyn is basically an anglicized Aisling / Aislin / Aislinn.

Its okay. I prefer Ashlyn to Ashlynn. I'm not the biggest fan of Ashley anyway, though I do sort-of like Ashton

I don't mind it. I do prefer Ashley, but Ashlynn is cute too. A bit more on-trend, I guess.

I think Aisling/Aislin is a nicer version of this name that doesn't sound made up/too trendy

It used to be my very favourite name (along with Ashley) when I was about 7, and I still like the sound of it, though not so much the spelling.

I much prefer it to Ashley but I’m not keen on names that start with ‘Ash’ aside from Asher but that’s masculine

Ashlyn(n) is destined to be very date-stamped, since it's a mashup of trendy elements. In fact, I think it's already starting to become dated; its usage peaked about a decade ago. It doesn't have an unpleasant sound, but personally I'd prefer to use a name with more history behind it.
