After posting this as one of my Sims 2 names I was reminded of how much I love this names although i'm not sure how the real pronouciation goes. I've been pronouncing it Nye-ah but i'm sure this is probably wrong. Anyways what is your opinion of Nia, or if you know the real pronouncing or just how you would pronouce it, TIA.

I like Nia, it is simple and pretty. And if you click on the name, you'll find that it is a Welsh name. I pronounce it NEE-ah.

Nia could also be a nn for Antonia or Lavinia.

I like it, but it seems too short for me. It'd be a great NN, but for what, I do not know. I prn it NEE-ah

I'm neutral on Nia. I don't like it, but I don't hate it. I prefer Pia and Mia, though.

As for pronunciation, I say 'NEE-uh'.
