[Opinions] Re: Italian names, WDYTO them?
in reply to a message by Felie
Here are my thoughts
Malvina - It has the word Mal in it which means bad which kinda ruins it for me (Unless it's a villainess then ok)
Barbara - Doesn't really have that Italian feel to it, sorry.
Lucrezia - Lovely, elegant, classic. A 10 in my book
Silvia - Melodious, and precious
Lisa - Short for Elisabeta I presume?
Marta - a 5 / 10 for me.
Monica - Never been a fan, except for Monica Geller
Valentina - A guilty pleasure of mine. Valentina had black curly hair and hazel eyes
Anna - Simple & Classic. Can't go wrong with this
Cristina -Same as above, although I prefer Cristiana
Laura - See Anna & Cristina
Virginia - Hmmm... a bit unsure about this
Cecilia - I've never really like it and I like the NN CeCe even less
Olga - Russian Princess rather than Italian
Gemma - Gives me more of an English Aunt vibe
Lidia - Lovely and charming
Elvira - Delicate and feminine
Magda - I don't like it, feels clumsy
Federica - Sounds clunky somehow
Eleonora - A very flowery sort of name
Titti* - I actually prefer the full names Tatiana, Tiziana & Martina
Rosa - Concise and sensible
Claudia - Princessy, preppy
Bianca - Very Shakespearean
Adelaide - This would fit a German
Gloria - I have an aunt names this and she's my favourite so yes, I love it
