[Opinions] Alastair
Hello,
My name is Kelly Sinclaire;I'm Seda's friend, but Seda said there were already some Kelly's here so I'll go by my last name. Seda's been a fan of this site for some time so I'm finally here. My favourite name is Alastair, but Alastair is extremely popular, so I would use it as a middle name maybe.
What do you think of it? Would you rather place it as a first or middle name? What names go well with it?
Thanks!
Kelclaire

Ack! Kells! It's Alastair Free or Alastair Brynn!
Hmm...but now that you've asked, here are the dreaded...
Eden's Ideas:
Lachlan Alastair (wouldn't that be a mouthful with Sinclaire? I still like it.)
Stefan Alastair or Alastair Stefan
Micah Alastair
Bladen Alastair
Eli Alastair (wow..I like this)
Rylan (d) Alastair
Alastair Fairfax
Alastair Reed (Sorry though, still don't like Reed.)

Hi.
I like Alastair a lot, and I didn't realize it had gotten popular in Scotland. It's unheard-of around here (I'm in Texas). I slightly prefer it spelled Alistair.
I'd use it as a middle name, even though it's not popular here, because there are so many names I like better, and because I'd want to avoid the nickname Al (which would be inevitable where I live).
How about -
Jude Alastair
Colin Alastair
Keith Alastair
Leif Alastair
Martin Alastair
?? I dunno. Not sure what sort of names you like, yet.

Well Alastair is no where near popular where I'm at so I would use it as a first name.
I like it but all the different spellings can get confusing. It is a nice name though, and I think the nn Allie would be particularly cute.
