Do you think Luminița would be annoying spelled Luminita but still pronounced as loo-mee-NEE-tsa?
And, what would you think if a person named Luminita pronounced it as loo-MIN-ee-tuh?

Yes, I think it's very counter intuitive. loo-MIN-ee-tuh is a tongue twister.

I would think that emphasis on the second syllable would be weird/quasi-incorrect.
