[Opinions] Re: Italian names

I used to really like Dante, now I don't like the sound as much, but I can see the appeal.
Beniamino is interesting. I've never seen that form, but it seems familiar enough, so I agree with you about it.
Federico is cool, but when I see feder* I usually think 'federal' related words, so I'd prefer Frederico.
Luigi is very uncommon were I live, and I don't really have an image for it other than 'Italian'. I agree it sounds nice.
Stefano is pleasant.
Pino reminds me of wine because it sounds just like pinot. The meaning is cute, though.
Michele... I don't like most forms of Michael, and it's not an exception.
Marco is okay. Yeah, it sounds common to me, but that's more by association with Mark / Marcus, which I like anyway.
Aw, I think Roberto has a soul, but admittedly I don't like Robert (in English), and Bob would be a cliche boring guy to me.
Paolo is okay. I think it sounds better than Paul, at least.
Maurizio is another one that mainly just looks Italian to me, but I like Maurice, even though that is dated, too.
Manlio looks way too much like 'manly' for me to take seriously...but it actually means morning? huh.
Enzo is okay. I like Piero, but it's not something I'd use either.
