I'm not a fan of Silvia / Sylvia for whatever reason... but I like Silvio and Sylvian. It sounds elven, which compliments the meaning. It's kind of cold and night-time-y and makes me think of silver, moonlight, pine trees, dark green-blue etc.

It's cute, but not a lot of nick-name options. Maybe add a middle name?

Oh, and Is it for a boy or girl?

Because if it's a girl, Sylvia or Silvia could also work

It's masculine. I'm not naming a kid, just wondering because I don't see it much, while Silvia seems popular.
