[Opinions] BA
A FB acquaintance and his wife recently had their first baby, a little girl they named Dana. Don't know the middle name. WDYT? I'm surprised by Dana. I feel like it's a name you don't hear of at all anymore.ETA: Her middle name is Jo. So her name is Dana Jo.

I like it. It's a nice simple name that's fallen out of fashion.Do you know how they're pronouncing it? I prefer DAY-na to DANN-ah.

I think like DAY-na.

It's true, you don't hear it much anymore. It's a very pretty name, short and simple, but very sweet, without being babyish.

Im shocked to hear Dana being used on a baby girl too. I met an older woman named Dana who is a childrens church employee, and another one named Dayna. It's ok. Not my fave
