I like it in theory, but I would never use it. It sounds violent.

Well they robbed him of a future profession as a serial killer, because it would be too “on the nose”. Especially with the god of war thrown in there for good measure. I mean, it would rival “Remus Lupin” for the name that’s the biggest dead giveaway.

There was a Carver Doone in Lorna Doone; very strange! I suspect he was a baddy, with name chosen in accordance with characteristics. Works well in Harry Potter, but not otherwise. And in real life, it's a genuine train smash, besides sounding too much like Carla for comfort!

It's very sweet :). I like it, but I dont think I wouldn't have the guts to use it. I grew up watching a Disney animated series, The Weekenders with a character named Carver.
