Provides a nice little Just-So Story about the origin of the seasons! But, having heard it pronounced Percy Phone in all seriousness, I don't think it's safe to let it out on its own.

We named our previous car this, but we always called her Seffie. The full name just felt like it was just a little much.

I've never met a Persephone in real life, and I don't understand why not, since the similar Penelope and Stephanie are both popular (especially the latter). It's a lovely mythological name.

I’ve liked Persephone for a long time now, and I like to think of it as a much prettier form of Penelope. It might be a bit long for a first name, though.
