It's very... fancy sounding. It sounds like the kind of name a woman would like for her son, but that a man would veto immediately with images of him getting beat up on the playground.

Lol, I can't count the number of times he's had this conversation with one of our male friends.
Friend: Chauncey? Do you want all the other kids to beat him up?
DH: I bet Chauncey Billups didn't get beat up as a kid.
