Favourite masculine name: Akira
Favourite feminine name: Mika
Akira has always felt simultaneously very physically strong and studious to me. Curiously enough, I think Kira sounds rather brutish for a girl, but Akira combines physical and mental strength. It also reminds me of Rabbi Akiva.
Mika sounds very cheerful, energetic, and slightly metallic. It reminds me of bubbling springs, foxes, and high-tech cities. It's also the stage name of one of my favourite pop singers, so it feels fun and camp-y to me, like his music.

Favourite meaning of feminine name: Haruka, "distant", "remote", "clear weather", "spring".

I like that is has a very pure and straightforward meaning, and seems like it would belong to someone kind and pleasant.

I just love the 'sparrow' meaning and find the name both precious and elegant.
