It reminds me of Liam, because I started liking Asher circa 2000, which is basically the only time I liked Liam.
I still like Asher, though. It's an old name with a modern sound and a nice meaning. I like saying it.
It's definitely popular in the US and still rising fast on the charts. It could reach Noah's level of popular, but I'm a little doubtful it actually will.
I'm not sure how many people know it's biblical or place significance on that.
