What would you think if you met a kid named either of these?

Carmine pronounced Carmeenay I would assume was named after his Italian great grandfather. It’s very dated and working class.Ira feels dated and Jewish.

Gosh, I love these two names so much. I'd be thrilled to meet a kid with either name.

I'd groan a little at Carmine. It's dorky enough that I would think it's dorky on purpose. Sister Myrtle...
I like Ira - as sort of a GP, because it's not my style. I'd react about like I do to Ezra ... which is not much reaction.
