Absolutely not. It's like naming a boy Boudicca.

I always thought of it has more of a masculine name but it’s likely most people wouldn’t question it. You could always use a nickname like ToriI think it’s only because on here we spend a lot of time looking at names that we’re more aware of masculine and feminine names.

No doubt the idea arose from the Latin, where for instance Victor (m) becomes Victrix (f). But that argument breaks down, firstly because Vercingetorix never was a Latin name - just the Romans' best shot at spelling a Gaulish name, and secondly because the original bearer of the name that we know about must have been a formidable soldier, because he gave Julius Caesar a very hard time indeed and won his respect. So I see Vercingetorix as a girl name as a badge of her parents' ignorance. The fact that I don't like the nns Tory and Trixie doesn't help.

Now Victrix is interesting!

Not a fan. It has an interesting history as a male name but it also really sounds like a part of the reproductive system.

I do not understand your aesthetic. But that happens more often than not on here, so whatever. :)
